ISAAC Nordic Research Symposium 2011

Gothenburg, Tuesday May 24 2011

Location: Department of Psychology, Haraldsgatan 1, Gothenburg

Conference language: English

The first ISAAC Nordic Symposium was held in Gothenburg May 24 2011. It gathered 33 participants from Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. Key-note speaker was Stephen von Tetzchner, who tried to capture the essence of Nordic research in AAC through guiding us through articles in AAC Journal by authors from the Nordic countries. Other invited speakers were Susan Balandin and Kaisa Lauonen who led the two strands of parallel seminars. The symposium ended with a discussion about possible future research collaboration between the Nordic countries (Notes from the discussion as pdf). It was decided that a Nordic research symposium should be held annually and move between the Nordic countries. The one in 2012 will be held in Sweden again, this time in collaboration with Certec at Lund University in october 2012. In 2013 the symposium will probably be held in Norway, and the one in 2014 in Finland.

ISAAC Sweden will like to thank the organizing comittee for their work: Annika Dahlgren Sandberg, Ulrika Ferm, Bitte Rydeman and Gunilla Thunberg. Than you!!

All participants are invited to send us their presentations as pdf:s, so they can be inluded in the list below. Send them to: bitte.rydeman@certec.lth.se.
